Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. Proverbs 21:23 We pray that during this time of heightened political campaigns in Kenya we will guard our mouths and tongues from hateful talks. We pray that our land will be saved from calamity.

CITAM Kitengela Officially Launched

There was joy and celebration on Sunday, 24th July 2022 when CITAM Kitengela was officially launched as an assembly. With this assembly now launched, it will have elders and will have delegates in Annual Delegates Conference ( ADC).The milestone event, which also marked the assembly’s 3rd anniversary, was graced by Rev. Calisto Odede, the Presiding Bishop accompanied by Rev. Dr. Karita Mabagara (the Deputy Bishop), Rev. Ken Isige (Director for Administration), Rev. Charles Obara (Southern Region Overseer), the members of the Council of Elders led by Elder Don Odera ( Council Secretary), Deacon Board members led by Martin Munyu ( Board Secretary) and several Head Office Managers. Various speakers thanked God for Rev. Erastus Oyando (Senior Pastor) and the Interim Advisory members for the great work in planting the assembly.  The assembly now has over 1,800 members and all the required ministries well established and running.

Praying in humility

Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray— not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God. And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God… 1 Timothy 2:8-9 God we humbly stand before your presence and raise our hands to you in worship.
