NATIONAL LEADERSHIP Rulers to be a people after God’s heart (1 Samuel 13:14) • Pray that leaders will lead well. That they will have listening ears and soft hearts (Deuteronomy 17:19). • Pray for those in authority to be upright and blameless in leading our country. • Leaders will fear God and address poverty and justice issues (Job 2:3, Proverbs 11:3) • Pray against bloodthirsty men and oppressors (Proverbs 29:10, 13) • Pray that rulers will respect and honor their subjects (Philippians 2:3) • Pray for honest leaders: who shall judge everyone with righteous judgement; will not pervert justice, do not show partiality, do not take bribe, and shall follow justice (Deuteronomy 16:18-20) • Peaceful co-existent of various arms of government (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary) • Adherence to the rule of law • Cordial relationships with other nations regionally and globally.

PRAYERS FOR THE NATION OF KENYA Kenyans to walk in the light (1 John 1:7) • Godly family values; presence of fathers and mothers in parenting their children, children respecting their parents and elders, praying against foolishness in our off springs (Proverbs 17:21) • Reverence of God; praying against a heart that denies the existence of God • Pray for Kenyans to be patriotic and speak positively about the motherland • Biblical moral values to guard our society; praying against compromising values of life • Unity and love; praying against hatred among the people of Kenya, pray against tribalism, favoritism, and nepotism (Psalm 133) • Sanctity and reverence of human life; praying against feet that run to do evil and to shed innocent blood (Isaiah 59:7) • Justice and righteousness: Pray that righteousness and justice are founded in Kenya and that God’s steadfast love and faithfulness to be found in our society (Psalm 89:14)

UNIVERSAL/GLOBAL CHURCH (MATTHEW 5:10-12, JOHN 13:34, PSALMS 85:6-8) • Pray for the persecuted believers around the globe. • Pray for the love of God to reign in the body of Christ. • True Christian Living in all churches across the globe. • Focus on true doctrine, disciple making and evangelism. • Revival and Unity in the wider body of Christ. • Pray against deception, false teaching and toxic practices

CITAM MISSIONS (MARK 16:15-16, 1 PETER 4:10, PSALM 2:8, ACTS 1:8) • CITAM to be active in fulfilling her vision on missions both locally and globally. • Sensitivity to the great commission among CITAM congregants. • Focused outreach in all CITAM churches. • CITAM to be favored in the nation(s) in her outreaches • Financial provision for CITAM missions work. • Pray for local & international CITAM mission stations for impact. • Call forth for a good harvest of souls for the kingdom of God.

CITAM CHURCH PLANTS (PHILIPPIANS 4:19, MATTHEW 16:18) • Pray that God will establish each church plant and grant them favor and impact • Pray for securing of land and premises for all CITAM church plants. • Pray for availability of church plant workforce/ministry workers. • Pray for God’s favor and grace to all church plant staff. • Pray for great harvest of souls in all church plants.
